VAMP, short for Vector Art Motion Processor, is a Blender add-on designed to generate silhouettes and line drawings from meshes.

Key features:

  • Mesh Analysis from Camera Perspective: Analyzes meshes, curves, or Grease Pencil objects from the camera’s viewpoint to generate mesh silhouettes and remove hidden lines.
  • Dynamic Update with Animation Frames: Capable of dynamically updating with animation frames.
  • Input and Output: Takes Blender meshes, curves, or Grease Pencil objects as input and outputs processed meshes reflecting visible edges and silhouettes from the camera perspective.
  • VAMP Control Panel: Located under Render properties settings, where users can update the VAMP target with the name of a new collection and click VAMP to process.
  • Creation of New Objects: VAMP creates new objects and places them into a collection called _vampOutput, which includes visible edges and silhouettes from the original mesh collection.
