TouchView

TouchView

TouchView is an add-on that improves the user interface for individuals working in Blender without direct access to a keyboard and mouse.

Key features:

  • Viewport Touch Control: Allows users to pan, rotate, and zoom within the viewport using touch gestures. This feature is designed to make navigation intuitive, utilizing three interactive “hot regions” to control the camera position effectively.
  • Pen Tablet Compatibility: Ensures that pen tablet users can still draw with the pen, while using their fingers to control the camera, providing a seamless interaction between drawing and navigating.
  • Middle Mouse Button Emulation: For devices that do not support touch, the add-on offers the option to set the middle mouse button to activate the control regions.
  • Customizable Overlay: Includes a toggleable overlay for the touch controls, which can be customized in terms of color.
  • Customizable Double-tap Action: Users can configure a double-tap gesture to perform various actions, such as changing the active object or toggling the touch control.
  • On-screen Buttons: Provides direct access to important features like undo/redo, fullscreen viewport toggle, and quad-view through on-screen buttons.
  • Fully Customizable Floating Menu: Offers a floating menu that can be customized with up to 8 commands specific to each edit mode.
