Interactive Physics Editor

Interactive Physics Editor

The Interactive Physics Editor is an add-on designed to enhance the object arrangement workflow within Blender. It addresses the common issue of preventing 3D models that represent real-world objects from colliding or intersecting in a virtual environment. By automating the process, it saves users significant time that would otherwise be spent manually tweaking each object’s position.

Key features:

  • Axis Locking: Objects can be locked on any or all of the three axes (location and/or rotation).
  • Collision Margin Adjustment: Users can adjust the collision margin during the edit session.
  • Passive Objects: Static objects can be designated as ‘Passive’ to keep them stationary.
  • Interactive Physics Session: The physics session is indefinite and can be committed (finalized) or cancelled at any time.
