Blender Animation Retargeting is an add-on that enables the transfer of animations and poses from one armature to another.

Key features:

  • Animation and Pose Transfer: Facilitates the transfer of animations and poses between different armatures within Blender.
  • Bone Mapping: Allows users to map each relevant source bone to the corresponding target bone, ensuring accurate transfer of animations.
  • Rest Pose Alignment: Provides tools to set up and apply rest pose alignment, optimizing the fit between the source and target armatures’ rest poses.
  • Driver Creation: Automatically creates drivers for each bone after mapping and alignment are completed.
  • Foot/Hand Positions Correction: Includes correction features for foot and hand positions to address issues like foot-sliding or odd arm movements due to anatomical differences between armatures.
